here are 15 Essential Questions to Identify Your Ideal Customer 👇🏻

Before You Start Answering the Questions:

  • You might notice that some of the questions seem a bit repetitive. However, they all serve a specific purpose.
  • Make sure to go through and answer the questions in the proper order. This will provide the most accurate results.

#1: What Type of People Do I "Resonate" with the Most?

Who are the people I naturally feel connected to in reality?

#2 Whom Do I Feel Most Comfortable and Happy Working with?

Are the People I Connect with in Real Life the Same as those I enjoy working with?

Are there any qualities I prefer my clients to have?

(If I’ve worked with clients before, or even if I haven’t, based on my intuition) – What special qualities do the clients I feel most comfortable working with have?

#3 Who Can I Truly Help??

Based on the tools and resources I currently have, which people can I genuinely help and meet their needs?

#4 Who Truly Needs Me?

Which people genuinely require my service or product? What are they lacking that I can provide?

#5 What obstacles does my client face?

What significant challenges/ problems are they dealing with?

#6 What are the fears of my client?

What concern or fear frustrates my client the most?

#7 What Are My Client's Values, Beliefs, and Opinions?

Identify at least three core values of your ideal client. What are their beliefs and guiding opinions in life?

#8 What Hobbies/Interests/Lifestyle Might Attract My Client?

Describe the types of things that attract your ideal client. Consider hobbies, interests, and lifestyle choices.

#9 What Are the Demographic Criteria of My Ideal Client?

Identify key demographics such as age, gender, status, location, occupation, income, and education.

#10 What Intrigues/Attracts them the Most?

Use these questions to help:

  • On which platforms/social networks do they spend time?
  • Do they use these platforms during leisure or for work?
  • Which influencers or people do they like to follow?

#11 What Does My Ideal Client’s Daily Routine Look Like?

When do they wake up? What’s the first thing they do in the morning? What do they enjoy or dislike about their routine? Do they take breaks for meals, relaxation, or socializing? How does their routine differ between weekdays and weekends? Where do they feel most comfortable and relaxed? What energizes or drains them? Are they a morning or night person? When do they go to bed? What’s important for them to do before ending their day?

#12 What Are My Client’s Preferences?

What are their priorities? (e.g., quality, quality of life, money, costs, personal connections)

#13 What Are My Client’s Goals and Aspirations?

What are their goals, aspirations, and desired achievements?

#14 What Prevents My Client from Achieving Their Goals?

What do they lack to achieve these goals? (e.g., courage, direction, self-confidence, knowledge, precision, tools, resources, specific physical aids)

#15 What does My Ideal Client desire most?

What is their “dream”? How can I help them achieve it with my service or product?

Note that if you offer multiple services, each service might have a different or unique ideal client profile.
